Shards maintain stable value since they can only be obtained through purchase, while money experiences high inflation. This makes shards a reliable store of value for purchasing powerful gear. Optimal usage involves saving shards for high-value items that provide significant gameplay advantages.

Shards cannot be directly traded between players as they function as a virtual balance. Items purchased with shards can be traded normally.
